Tonight is Sherm’s Friday… yay for a long weekend! He doesn’t have to go back into work until Monday night (normally Sunday night on a reg weekend). I love these long weekends.
On Sunday we’re driving down to Harrisburg PA to pick up the Kidster. Harrisburg is the half way point between Syracuse and Roanoke Virginia… or there abouts the half way point. I need to get the van cleaned up a little before we leave and make sure we have our auto insurance cards in the van and maybe borrow a real map from my dad lol See how off the GPS is on my phone! lol 
I wish we could take Lucy with us, but she’s never been in a car for over an hour before. I’d hate to get 2 or 3 hours into the trip and find she gets car sick or is so bored she freaks out. She’ll be fine at home. Guard dog on duty!
Dinner tonight was suppose to be hotdogs on the grill but it was so hot in here that I didn’t even want to eat inside the house and I just wasn’t in the mood to eat at the picnic table though I’m sure we would have been nice and cool because when we got home we opened the door and was hit by a wall of heat. It was hotter in the house than outside! This A/C unit isn’t going to make it another year I’m afraid. Maybe we can get a new unit at tax time next year.
Speaking of next year… I missed entering photos into the State Fair photo competition. So over the winter I’m going to get color printing done and be ready for the 2011 NY State Fair!
I’m melting here… I can not wait for this hot spell to break. I have to shop for a few warm sweater and long sleeve tops. My favorite place to shop for that stuff is at the Rescue Mission. They separate everything and I mean EVERYTHING! teens, womans, plus size, skirts, dresses, petite clothing , , mens, boys etc… sometimes better than department stores! I can go in and know exactly where I need to be looking. Fall is also my time of year to pick up purses there as well. Must be some left over back to school shopping in me or something LOL
